That was a great story.. these are the ones that really make a trip i think. Before going to Beijing i had thought it would be fairly westernized lime shanghai. I was very surprised to find almist no one spoke english. We had lots of fun and games when we explored on our own. Handwaving drawing and chinese often shout - but they arent angry lol.

We tried to tip a few times. Some waitresses actually seemes scared when we did!
