I was there last December. Absolutely a must see.
If you look at it just right, it looks like a man popped out from under the surface and is holding up his hands in a Baptist style praise. Hallelujah!

Absolutely beautiful! I've always wanted to go to the desert to see these!
But what's the difference between a butte and a mesa? As I thought that these were mesas?
