Pripyat town is a ghost

Unlike Chernobyl , the history of the city of Pripyat is not so rich - this city was founded in the seventies of the twentieth century as a "city of nuclear workers" - as the first nuclear power plant was built nearby, it was necessary to provide workers and their families with housing and comfort. In Pripyat there were cinemas, sports complexes, the palace of arts, a hotel, shopping centers. However, the busy life of the town was canceled by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. All residents of the city were urgently evacuated; they were asked to leave personal belongings, assuring them that they would soon be able to return. As you know, no one could return home, and the once prosperous town of Pripyat was empty.

The atmosphere in Pripyat is very similar to the one that reigns in Chernobyl - and indeed these two cities are inseparable. Here, as in the exclusion zone, often organize tours that are popular among tourists - many like to tickle their nerves, being in the middle of an abandoned gray city. Excursions and vivid impressions, which can be obtained here - this is the main entertainment in Pripyat although the kind of empty town is quite depressing. Knowing that events of many films, books and games unfold in Pripyat, one can also imagine himself a hero of some history. The consequences of the accident at the nuclear power plants are making themselves felt - the forest next to Pripyaty absorbs radiation from the ground, and the river is still radioactive, although some even dare to fish there.

They get to Pripyat by sightseeing routes or by their own course, but with a private guide, since there is no other way to get to the city.

A trip to the ghost town of Pripyat will surely be remembered for everyone, but not everyone will be able to remain calm in this city. Therefore, you need to prepare mentally before ordering an excursion. In the rest - bright impressions are guaranteed.
