History Of Kasimiye Madrasa in Ancient Mardin , Turkey
Kasimiye Madrasa is Bleeding for Cuntries.
Mardin is the 26. crowdest city in Turkey. It is located at the souther east region of Turkey. This region also called as Mesopotamia. Mardin is builded on the mountain. It is been used by humankind since 4500 BC. The city keep watch during the centuries while Subari, Sumer, Akad, Babylon, Mitanniler, Assyrian, Persian, Byzantine, Arabian, Seljuk, Artuklu, Ottoman civilizations lived there.
Kasim Pasha who is second builder of the Madrasa is killed in the building. His sister throw his bloody shirt to wall. Today the blood stain became visible when water is thrown on wall.
Kasimiye Madrasa started by Artukids. But they couldnt be able to finish because of war. Then Kasim Pasha who is son of Akkoyunlu Sultan, finished 1502 the building.
It has been used for education during centuries. Today is a museum.
