Short trip to Dresden, Day 2 - Hausmannturm with a view over Dresden at night
Our last post was about the guided tour in the Semperoper (deutsch, english).
After the tour, we decided to climb the Hausmannturm, the oldest still existing part of the Dresden Castle. The construction of the lower part of the house tower startet in 1400. With its approx. 100 m height, it provides an impressive view of the illuminated Semperoper and the Hofkirche.
Access via the castle courtyard | Upstairs with a total of 222 steps |

For dinner we choosed the Altmarktkeller with saxon bohemian cuisine. The offered dishes are not cheap, but good.
