Norway is undoubtedly an incredibly beautiful and varied country. We have read and written about how Norway is celebrated on social media, and what hotels in Norway the tourists prefer to live on.

There are many beautiful pearls in Norway, but we have found 17 places that you really need to experience.

1 Stryn, Sogn & Fjordane

Stryn is located in the innermost part of Nordfjord, in an area known for its spectacular surroundings with glaciers, beautiful fjords and mountains. Stryn offers a rich variety of nature experiences. Here you can go hiking across the glacier, go hiking in the green and enjoy the beautiful sand dunes on one and the same day.

3 Kjeragbolten, Stavanger

The bolt on Kjerag is a round stone that has been clad between two mountain sides - and this is possible to stand on top of - if you dare! Many mountain climbers and base jumpers go here, but a walk up to the bolt also offers a bit of an adrenaline kick.

4 Geiranger, Møre & Romsdal

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Western Norway that extends from the coast just north of Bergen and to Jotunheimen trollfjell.

The Sognefjord is 204 meters, Norway's longest and deepest fjord.

8 Trolltunge, Hardanger

Trolltunga in Hardanger draws 1100 meters above sea level. The goal of the trip is the Trolltunga mountain shelf that runs straight out of the mountain, 700 meters above the Ringedalsvannet below. Imagine standing there and looking out over the lake, surrounded by mountain peaks. Beautiful.

Rjukan is on UNESCO's World Heritage Site and is located directly at the Hardangarvidda National Park. The city is best known for Gaustatoppen; one of Norway's most beautiful mountains.

Hjørundfjorden is surrounded by the mountains, which are considered the Sunnmøre Alps. One of the longest fjords in Norway, which you can experience on foot or by boat.

The Aurdal is known as "Norway's Grand Canyon"; a wonderful natural experience with dramatic mountain nature and a scenic hiking area. An amazing piece of Norway that takes you through a landscape you hardly have experienced before.

Whales consist of 833 islands, sheaves and islets. An island municipality in the Oslofjord, southwest of Østfold. The island is rich in experiences, especially in the summer. Experience the unique archipelago by bike, by boat, car or public transport.

And great tips. But i am not so good with images. Do you use a special tool for getting big letter. Headings and stuff.

I from south east in Norway myself, Oslo to be exact. I have never seen the northern lights and I have always wanted to visit Lofoten. Definitively on my list of places to go!
