YOUR Tour of All Access Passes! Day 3

Can you remember, the RUSH you felt, the last time you were granted entry, somewhere, where most people aren't allowed access to?

It's the BEST!!! 😀

I've got so many stories to share with you:

Like one time, when a nightclub owner took me through literally Secret Doors, into the liquor storage area for the club. There was a tray waiting with 4 empty shot glasses (one for the Club Owner, the other three for my business partners and I) and he extended his arm, offering the whole room with a grand gesture;

Then looking at his phone,

"Go nuts guys, I've got to take care of something. Have fun!"

And he disappeared back out the same door, leaving us to our own devices in a room with shelves and product that easily outmatched that of any neighborhood liquor store.

There was the time I had to get in-between my business partner and Elvis Costello's manager, because they were about to go at each other like starved Wolverines infected with rabies.

The time Steven Seagal came to one of our events, the time I flew to Los Angeles for the weekend, thanks to an invitation to attend a party at the Playboy Mansion (April, 2000)...

So many memories and stories.

And THEN, there are also the events that I have absolutely no recollection of.

Not because of alcohol or drugs;
rather because when you're sprinting through life at a breakneck pace, some of the scenery gets left behind.

This pass falls within that category:

I couldn't begin to tell you anything about this event...

So instead, recognizing that this MIGHT be the case for other Passes I'll be presenting in the future, I invite you to listen to this song, and others, as we move deeper into the month of March:

Amazing, compelling songs are fantastic, and will get stuck in your head if granted the opportunity.

Much like the grooves on a record, your neuronal synapses build pathways of recognition to new stimuli.

This is how we learn.

Please try this:

Give the song a listen.

Then set the alarm on your phone for 3 hours after enjoying the track.

When your alarm sounds, listen to the song again.

Repeat this one more time, three hours later.

If the song is to your liking, three listens, separated by several hours, will strengthen those synaptic pathways.

The stimuli has shifted from 'new data' to 'pattern recognition'; if you enjoy the tune, it'll get stuck in your head, and BANG!

You've just discovered a pleasure in life that costs you absolutely nothing! 😀

Imagine an OCEAN of thousands of cyber-hippies, absolutely dancing their faces off, in a laser-lit warehouse, at 4 am in the mid 90's, losing their minds and physically expressing themselves to these tracks...

And you'll have a pretty good idea of my life, every single weekend, around 20-25 years ago.
