Sirolo. A Paradise in the Heart of Italy.

Sirolo is a beautiful medieval village set between the green of the mountain and the blue of the sea, is considered "the pearl of the Adriatic": a precious art treasure chest set in a breathtaking landscape.
The scenery is that of the Riviera del Conero, at the foot of a mountain suddenly rising above the sea, with white pebble beaches and a blue sea.

Around the year 1000, in front of the raids and barbarians and the need to defend themselves, Sirolo acquired its own identity as a fortified fortress. The village, with its streets and alleyways, develops today out of the medieval town, from a beautiful road leading from the square to the last outskirts of the city, to the vineyards, which today, centuries ago, touch the doors of the houses.

Set on a hill at 125 meters high, between the green of the mountain and the blue of the sea. Its enchanting location has long been a destination for holidaying for Italians and foreigners, attracted by the unrivaled color of its sea, its rocks and its beaches, even its history.
Walking through the walls you can still see one of the ancient towers. Walking alleys only on foot still preserve the ancient medieval atmosphere today.

The only emergency (572 meters) overlooking the middle Adriatic, the promontory of the Conero is the heart of the homonymous Regional Park. Established in 1987 and managed today by an autonomous body, the territory of the Conero Park falls in the municipalities of Ancona, Sirolo, Camerano and Numana and extends over 6000 hectares of protected area, offering to the sight of places and landscapes of great suggestion: Portonovo Bay, Two Sisters Beach, panoramic balconies overlooking the sea or facing the gentle hillside of the interior.
