Sunset over "Nhong Ghood Ting" (หนองกุดทิง) : a travellers guide to an unseen destination in Thailand.

Hello fellow Steemians,

Today I want to share with you, an amazing experience I had while shooting my TV show, at a lake located in Isaan, which is the northeastern part of Thailand.

Amazing Sunset

"Nhong Ghood Ting" is still considered an unseen tourist location in Thailand.

The lake covers around 16,500 acres and is home to amazing wildlife. Bird watchers can come here and spot different species, photographers can get some amazing pictures and fishers can come fish .

We went there to shoot our TV show " Ride With Me ", because we heard so many good things about this lake, and we were blown away by everything we experienced, at this amazing location. The Sunset we shot here, is one of the prettiest I have ever seen, or even experienced firsthand.

While sailing in the lake, the sun started setting, and my oh my did we get some amazing footage of the sunset.

If you plan to go, you can contact the locals if you want to go out sailing. It's a good way to stimulate and grow the economy in remote areas. Besides that, the locals also know where the fish are... if you want to go fishing, and for bird watchers, they know where the birds reside, and they can take you there, in their boats.

I need to warn you that, if you want to hike/birdwatch or fish at the lake shore, you have to watch out for local wildlife. Since tourism is really new in this area, there is still plenty of wildlife there. When we were there, the locals told us not to walk into the high grass, because there are KING COBRAS!!! in the grass. The King Cobra will normally flee, BUT if it's near their nesting area, they WILL attack!!! (they are known for being very protective off their eggs and babies...) SO be very careful, if you want to walk around the shore.
