We travel to Pismo Beach a few times a year and every time we pull in, we walk down to Splash Cafe for Clam Chowder Bread Bowls and curly fries.

The line outside to order Splash Cafe Chowder usually circles back to the end of building, but we were fortunate to walk inside the building and order within a few minutes.

This kitchen serves up 30,000 gallons of Clam Chowder every year.

Sometimes a place is popular just because of location, but when the Clam Chowder is the best, it worth the wait.

This is my Bread Bowl full of delicious chowder. I devoured every bit of the bowl after I finished the Clam Chowder.

We made this trip to celebrate Daniel's second birthday and he had an amazing time with the atmosphere and the delicious food.

The Bowls are always delicious, and if you don't like Clam Chowder, they serve up delicious burgers as well.
