The 10 Best Cliff Jumps on Youtube

I'm a huge fan of cliff jumping and cliff diving. I'm more of a jumper myself, I've never been of a diver. I have a small rock quarry near me we go jumping in the summer. In past years I would normally head to Jamaica every summer and go cliff jumping out on the West End near the cliffs and would really enjoy watching the locals dive at Rick's Cafe a famous spot to catch a nice sunset and watch the locals dive off the really high plank.

Anyhow, I love watching adrenaline porn type stuff and cliff diving videos so I bring to you the top 10 cliff jumps on Youtube.

Number 1

This one comes to us from Adrenaline Addiction a Youtuber. There's a lot of jumps in this video and it's more of a vlog style video so if you want to skip straight to the jump its at about the 5:30 mark.

Number 2

This one also comes to us from Adrenaline Addiction. This one gets some cool points for cinematography and being right next to a pretty bad ass waterfall. It also seems to be a pretty precarious spot he's jumping from. Enjoy...

Number 3

This bridge jump comes to us from Nick Coulter on Youtube. I somewhat dislike when people use GoPros or wide angle lenses as it makes the distance hard to judge accurately. While the title says 110 feet this clearly is not 100 feet, but I do see a couple rotations and some good drop time before they hit the water so its definitely a pretty high bridge jump. Watch the jump for yourself...

Number 4

Watching this one kind of made my stomach turn. One thing I hate about watching stuff where people are jumping from areas they shouldn't be jumping is they are concerned with getting caught more so than the jump and I could easily see a mistake being made. This guy skirts along a sketchy looking cliff side in sandles before getting to his jump spot. He barely jumps far enough to make it out past the rocks. Does he survive?

Number 5

This video comes to us from the Redbull Youtube page and is a professional diver named Laso Schaller. This jump is supposedly 59 meters which is 193 feet. I'm actually quite surprised I wasn't even aware you could jump from these heights and survive, however it does appear they are wearing some type of wet suit and a belt and some type of shorts which I imagine is meant to prevent water from shooting up your butthole. He survives and it's a pretty amazing jump

Number 6

The video quality on this one isn't great, and I don't think this was really over 100 feet, but a decent jump none the less...

Number 7

Not sure this one is really 91 feet as the title states, however a pretty high jump and the guy dove head first as opposed to landing feet first so props for that. Pretty impressive dive...

Number 8

I think we may have seen this same waterfall location in a previous jump, but definitely some points for a beautiful backdrop. While not as high as some of the other jumps they do a few flips and it's definitely a cool spot to jump from...

Number 9

This one is one of my favorite jumps for a couple reasons. This is Rick's Cafe a spot I've been to a number of times. You can watch the locals make some amazing jumps while watching a beautiful sunset. This location I know the high platform "Spider" is jumping from is just over 90 feet and it seems much higher than many of the other videos I've seen claiming to be 100 feet or 120 feet. I've personally jumped from here as well although 60 feet is about the most I've done at this location.

Number 10

Definitely not 120 feet but a cool jump at a cool location none the less

Pretty epic jumps. Adrenaline addiction is my favorite channel on YouTube. Chase is an unreal badass. I have seen the guy who dove off that 91 footer. He is insane with those head first jumps. I can't believe he doesn't get knocked out on those. He jumped off Havasu Falls head first at the Sendy Convention as well from a little lower spot. Like 70 ft. There are about 10 of the guys who I see pop up on a lot of these videos and I don't even know how they live because seriously even jumping off 40 and 50 footers hit your body really hard. 70 ft was like I was getting punched in the face and honestly I probably won't jump off one that big again.

Here is another one from 8 Booth that is crazy. I honestly thought he was going to hit the pier. That building was over 100 ft high. In the raw video he was hurt and it knocked the wind out of him pretty bad. What a savage. I'm sure you know he shattered his feet on a pool jump.

Yeah that video you posted is insane, I've seen that one before. Hard to judge from the video how close he was to that pier but looks way too close for comfort.

One thing that's really scary about these guys jumping from places your not supposed to is they are so focused on not getting cauht and looking out for security and trying to rush it one of these days one of them is going to hurt themself because they aren't paying enough attention to the actual jump.

You aren't kidding about those heights, really anything about say 30 or 40 feet you really have the potential to get injured. There's a spot in Jamaica I jump from that has platforms anywhere from say 35 feet on the low end, another at 50 another at 90.

I talked to a lady who jumped from the lowest platform which is maybe 35 or 40 feet, it's been a while so I forget the story but really messed up her hips and her back. Wound up having to spend a miserable day or two in some hotel waiting for a flight out and when she got back to the states had to have surgery and really messed herself up and again that was only 40 feet. She didn't strike me as someone who had any business jumping period but just shows what can happen.

I've seen some people get really messsed up chickening out as well. There's one spot we jump from where you don't have to jump super far out but you do need a couple feet or clearance if you don't wanna hit the rocks. I see soem people run to the end of the cliff and then get scared and kind of pull back. I've seen a couple people bust themselves up on the cliffs because they run to the edge, get scared and try to stop themselves and then wind up hitting the rocks on the way down.

Crazy stuff. I gotta make it out to Arizona you guys some some good jumps out by you. Here in chicago we got a couple quaries but outside of that I have to go up to Northern Michigan or the UP. I think maybe Wisconsin Dells has some decent stuff but nothing huge. I know a bunch of buddies used to go to a spot out by IU in Bloomington back in your old neck of the woods but I never made it there myself. Quarries kinda scare me though, sometimes there's nasty chemicals in the water, sometimes objects floating in there and at the one by me there's water snakes which scare the hell out of me

I read the description on 8Booths jump and he was saying it was 130 ft and it hurt him to where he feels a clicking now when he takes a breath.

I saw a guy get temporarily knocked out on 35 foot and me and another guy swam in to get him because he was just floating. He woke up when we got to him and his nose was bleeding.

Like the story you were saying of the chick that jumped I have honestly never seen a girl jump more than 35 foot and not get hurt. In person or on video or from stories people tell. I don't know what it is but it is almost like the girls can't take the impact. I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast about a chick MMA fighter who was actually a transvestite and was born a man and she was literally destroying the girls. They talked about how a man's bone's are more dense and how the tendon and ligament connections are stronger on average. I think that has a lot to do with it. Unless a girl was a high level athlete her body can't take the impact of the higher cliff jumps. I don't know how Chase's body is able to take the impact of the jumps he does because he is pretty skinny and he has jumped from 140 feet before which is just unbelievable.

He just posted on Instagram of him climbing up and insane cliff in Mexico that he was going to jump. He totally needed gear but it looked like he free climbed it. Dude's insane.

yeah that Quarry looks sweet in Bloomington. I had heard about it as well.

In one of the videos I posted, I believe it was the redbull one, I can't see which number because I'm on a different page now but the guys were wearing like wet suits with some type of belt around their waists and it looked like he had on a plastic diaper. Do you know what that was for? I'm guessing maybe some type of floatation device or something. I know on Amazon lately people have been selling these wrist bands with Co2 that inflate if your in trouble in the water, was wondering if the belt was some type of contraption like that?

The rubber diaper thing was I imagine to keep 10 gallons of water from shooting up his but, but looked like those guys took some safety precautions

Yeah I think it was mainly to keep him from breaking his tailbone and getting a firehose enema. I read that he dislocated his hip temporarily on that jump but made a full recovery. Evidently they tried to leg a big air bubble out under the water so he would land in broken water but it didn't work as the expected and he didn't actually land in a bubble.

Yeah I have watched some of these myself. I think Phobos clued me in on cliff diving a while back at his blog.

These guys are maniacs but really incredible :)

Yeah if I recall he has a cool video of himself jumping I think.

Nice cool post idea. Looks fun but scary at the same time

Have you watched Parkour? On like really tall buildings? That gives me so much of an adrenaline rush just watching. You should do a top 10 of that next.

I've watched a bit of Parkour stuff. I'm a big fan of the rooftoppers and urban climbers so watch a lot of that stuff and yeah there's a lot of crossover into parkour I notice a lot of those guys are parkour guys and vice versa. Really amazing some of the stuff those guys can do

Videos really adventurous and wonderful too
What a beautiful sea.
