I have some followers who would like to visit Cappadocia after seeing all these wonderful cave rock formations from my blog. They love these photo shoots and ask me whether there are hotels or nearby accommodations to stay close to these hiking trails.

Definitely yes! There are 3 different small tourist towns: Urgup, Goreme and Ulchisar. Many people stay in these tourists towns where they can also experience cave house dwellings.

I like to get away from tourists places in order to indulge myself into the heart of Cappadocia wonderland.

In this picture, you see small hotels along the highways between these towns. I quite like these small hotels as they are located right in the middle of these hiking trails. Tourists hotels in tourists towns are packed with visitors and don't give you the local feel. But these small hotels along the highway are actually homes of local people who have always lived all their lives in Cappadocia. When you stay there, you also hear interesting stories from them.

We stayed in this tiny small "Hitit Hotel". Perfect for our purpose - hiking the Cappadocian mountains.

You must make a visit to Cappadocia at least once in your life time. Make sure you spend some time walking some of these mountain trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
