A short trip to Cartagena, Colombia

Cartagena is a colorful city in Colombia, with full of joy and hardworking people welcoming tourists with open arms.

The city which inspired the writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Nobel Prize in Literature, has an unique charm - I did really not regret getting to know it, I spent only 3 days there but wished it could be more.

This is the beautiful skyline from Bocagrande where most hotels are located.

Historic center

The historic center especially inside its ancient wall is full of restaurants, churches, plazas, clubs, etc. so you can walk and get lost on purspose and all that on foot.

Trying Peruvian food in Cartagena

We decided trying this Peruvian restaurant which was really good with fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. The restaurant was quite packed, therefore, we did not get the best table, but anyway was definitely worth. This is their address:
