Cebu: Simala Shrine visit
This place is called Cebu's Castle Church, Simala Shrine in Sibonga. Yes you read it right it's a church and a CASTLE.
We were just heading back from Oslob, Cebu where we swam with the whale sharks (butanding). Lovely experience by the way.
This is the main entrance. Since it's technically a Catholic Church, we were not allowed to wear any sleeveless top and good thing I have a jacket handy and my friends have a shawl too since we were in our after-beach outfit.
I was quite overwhelmed when we entered.

There's even a man-made lake.

It will take you more than an hour to explore every part of this magnificent place. Some parts are being renovated and built.
The scenic atmosphere will just bring peace and serenity to the soul. It's a perfect place to appreciate nature's beauty and human talent.
We walked and walked util we became tired and we rested to his kiosk. There are several of them. Due to the sunny weather and me needing to wear my thick jacket, I need to take it off for a moment (shhhh).
Then these cuties greeted us.
They are quite sweet and cuddly.
Gets rid of my tired feet right away.

Some parts especially the places for prating would not allow visitors in taking of pictures that's why I only got limited photos. That's understandable though.
But believe me you will forget to take photos when you are there since you will be speechless due to it's beauty. No words can fully describe the view and the feeling you get when are there.
More of Cebu adventures coming up. :)
