Surely its easier to fly from Istanbul to a nearer airport? 3 days driving is insane! Unless you are stopping for a bit of tourism here and there.
Wasn't it too hot at this time of the year? Im planning of going soon but when the weather cools down.

We didn't fly as we wanted to tour the entire land of Turkey. It is filled with culture and history. The weather cools down in next month and a good time to go after the summer season. Less people. Just followed your blog.
