RE: Up to the Mountains - Yercaud Hills
oh dear @amintymile a lovely walk despite the rain! I share your love for nature and your message of protection of it and against the horrible tourism that destroys everything as if it were not important, as if it were not their responsibility!
keep on and congratulations on your curie rating
Thankyou @road2horizon. Yup, though travel is so exciting but somewhere its created disharmony. we must have eco-tourism not commercial tourism, it should emphasize joy for exploring and experiences places rather than seeing profits alone. High time tourism is regularated and seen to be in a nature conserving way, rather than have tourism, encourage trash, cutting trees for hotels, encouraging cars and pollution for siteseeing, and encoaching water bodies to build stay places. Eco sensitive zones should be protected and only eco tourism should be encouraged, it will generate employment too for the locals, and make things safer for outside tourists as well.
Local people and their culture should be prominent, their role is important too.
And yeah travelling should be pocket friendly too, everyone should travel albeit in a eco conscious way, once a while.
