Travel to Mount Andong in Central Java, Indonesia

On last weekend, I took a hike trip to Mount Andong. This trip is very exciting, because this is the first time I have made the hike up the mountain. Indeed it must be very tiring, but tired it paid off with what I got after reaching the peak, enjoy the beautiful scenery, make me feel like to be there forever.

Gunung Andong is a shield-type mountain in Sawit village, Girirejo sub-District, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency, Central Java, has a height of 1,726 meters as one of several mountains encircling Magelang and have never had erupted activity. Sunrise at peak of Andong presents a beautiful panorama to watch ten legendary mountains of Indonesia. Mount Andong in Magelang Regency has four peaks aligned lengthwise are Makam, Jiwa, Andong and Alap-alap. At each peak presents a beautiful natural landscape and become favorite spot for the climbers enthusiasts to spend the night in sparkling lights emanating from Magelang city, Salatiga city and Surakarta city in the lowlands. This mountain is suitable for beginner climber, besides not too high, the field is also quite easy and suitable for beginner climber. From the summit, we can set up a tent and enjoy the bonus of the struggle against our ego. From the peak you can see the peaks of Mount Merbabu, Merapi, Telomoyo, Ungaran, Sumbing, Sindoro, and Prau. But if the weather is really sunny, there is also the peak of Mount Slamet.
