This is a beautiful destination to travel to in the Fine city of Cologne, Germany. This beautiful city was built by the Romans in 38 BC. The hot spots in this city includes the churches, abundance of museums, and uniquely designed neighbhorhoods.

The popular perfrume "eau de Cologne" was created in the beautiful city of Cologne.

Cologne Carnival

This takes place yearly which consists of singers, parades, bands, and many events near the city's bars and clubs. Cologne Carnival is known to be the largest street festival in Europe. On monday, the special event is known as Rose Monday which ties back to the German tribes celebrating daylight and warmth. This was a time when Christianity was becoming popular. Rose Monday is celebrated with Germans dessing up in traditional clothing and floats.

Cologne is known for having its historical museums. This museum depicted above is the Ludwig museum which was taken by the talented photographer @ckellersantos. This museum offers a collection of fine art.

There is a fragrance museum in Cologne as well. As I stated earlier, the well known cologne Eau de cologne was created in this beautiful city. The entry to get in the museum is only $6! This museum will give you the history of the Eau de cologne along with many different fragances.

For all of you Chocolate lovers out there, this is a must visit! This museum is presented the history of chocolate and provides hysterical showings of commercials from 1920s to now. This by far one of the most attractive museums in Cologne.
