Travel to the historical Lalbag Kella ,Dhaka-Bangladesh

Lalbagh fort is an unfinished Mughal fort which is located on the banks of Buriganga river in the city of Dhaka.Its building started in 1678, by Mughal Subedar Muhammad Azam Shah,And he was the son of Emperor Aurangzeb and after that he also became himself the emperor.

Mughal emperor Shaista Khan again started building in 1680 though he could not finish the job.BUt when the work of the building was going, emperor Shaista Khan's daughter "PORI BIBI" died.Lalbagh fort has three speacial fort, one of them and the most important part is called the Tomb of "PORI BIBI".After the death of Shaista Khan the work has been stopped. In 1844 the name of the area has been changed into "Aurangabad" . So, the monument is called as Lalbag Kella from that time.

The fort is the combination of three building .It has a Mosque too. At the fixed wall of the castle, five towers were equal as two floors in height.And also there are two tower in the west side of the fort.

In 1668 after the death of PORI BIBI she has been Buried into the shrine of the Lalbag fort.The inside stucture of the fort is made by white stone which is made in 1688.
