Reality of elephants

Hello Steemers!

It is not any new that all animals who are in circus or used for any other entertainment are abused and probably tortured.

But today about lovely elephants:

Experts say that population of African elephants is about to fall.
President Obama banned trophies for importing in 2014. And now Trump puts that decision on hold as he reviews all conservation facts. There are pictures in internet of his son holding tail of dead elephant, so there are deffinetly personal interest!

Elephants are used to entertain tourists in Asia and Africa for rides, for background of selfes and for shows how they are playing football, painting or dancing.

I am just wondering does any tourist thinks what is all behind that? Most elephants are taken away from their mothers since they were little babies and forced for trainings.
Most poor elephants are waiting in chains when their show begins, their living condition are terrible.

Luckily there are some travel companies that have already stopped selling tickets for rides and shows. Also animal-activists and Ellen DeGeneres have stand up for them and calling all tourists and hunters to think about all those elephants.

So, people when you travel any country where elephants are used for any enterainment, please, don’t support it. I know it might be fun and extraordinary to see, but what of victims of that show?
And if there is any hunter you know… I am asking WHY do you need any trophy?
