The Golden Ring ☀️ is a ring of cities northeast of Moscow, the capital of Russia.
There is no official list of which cities make up part of the Golden Ring with the exception of the eight principal cities of 🍃 Yaroslavl, 🍃 Kostroma, 🍃 Ivanovo, 🍃 Suzdal, 🍃 Vladimir, 🍃 Sergiev Posad, 🍃 Pereslavl-Zalessky and 🍃 Rostov Veliky.

Vladimir

My grandparents 👴🏻👵🏻 live in Vladimir ⛪️ last 15 years, so every summer holidays in school I visited them. For a teen 😈 it was too boring to spend all summer days in the old historical place 🙄, but now, when I have only day or two in year to be there, I enjoy these moments 😌.
Vladimir was one of the medieval capitals of Russia, with significant buildings surviving from the 12th century. ⛪️⛪️⛪️
The place, everyone should see, is the Golden Gate, constructed between 1158 and 1164. 💒

The gate survived the Mongol destruction of Vladimir in 1237. Now inside the Golden Gate there is the museum dedicated to the history of Vladimir. 🏰

The one of sightseeing places in Vladimir is the Dormition Cathedral. ⛪️

We need to visit this city because of grandfather every year, and every year we find something interesting and beautiful.

This year we had only few hours for walking the streets. So first of all, we came to the Golden Gate and there found a little street with very nice view. 😍🏯
