In order to capture the picturesque scene of Dunn’s River Falls, I shared some picture with you in my previous post. (See link below) But as I said, the picturesque scene doesn’t end there, as Dunn’s River Falls is one of the few travertine (limestone) waterfalls in the world that empties straight into the ocean. The Falls empty into the Caribbean Sea at the western end of a blue beach with white sand.

One thing you see a lot at Dunn’s River Falls is a human chain formed by visitors (mostly tourist) who are climbing the falls. Most likely the chain is formed to help with balance and stability. This climbing can be done with a tourist guide.

But if you do not want to get wet or you are unable to climb the rocky steps, you can make use of the walkways alongside the falls.

I think you agree with me that Dunn’s River Fall is unique in the Caribbean.
