We don't usually have any breakages as the supplier can be liable if the items break due to bad packaging, so they are very careful.
Once, some of our stuff went through customs, and they broke our stuff! Stupids!

Oh no! Customs is a weird and mysterious place where things are swallowed up and never seen again. Only the bravest of goods make it through this perilous trek. Some forever bear the scars of the dangerous encounters on their journey. :)
I knew a cargo ship mechanic ( It's probably called something more sophisitated than that) who had all kinds of horror stories about storms at sea and badly packed or incorrectly weighted containers going flying over board during storms.
