Just a stones throw from the Las Vegas Strip lays a hidden desert oasis. Get away from all those lights and take a hike! There is so much beauty -- real peace. Getting away from light and noise pollution actually makes a difference on your cognitive thinking. #getoutmore

Bonnie Springs is a Western themed amusement park of sorts. I say "of sorts", because by no means can you really categorize it as such.

First off, Spring Mountain Ranch (the property that Bonnie Springs, sits in) is a natural desert oasis.
Spring Mountain Ranch is* the real place where Mormon pioneers first settled in the 1800s.
The buildings aren't just props. They are actual buildings that they used to represent the town.

Old Nevada western town at Spring Ranch is a replica of an old West town complete with cowboys....!!!!

Is how the website describes. It really doesn't disappoint. Especially if you're the fun loving, care free, full of imagination,.. kind of adult. Especially fun for children and even teens. Also, Red Rock has a scenic loop drive that's worth checking out.
