SUMMER HOLIDAYS - SWITZERLAND AND ITALY --- SOMMERFERIEN SCHWEIZ UND ITALIEN
Dear Steemians,
It's time for summer holidays and we left Luxembourg Saturday evening for a fist short trip to stay a night in that beautiful city of Obernai.
On the following morning we had a pleasant Continental breakfast on a nice terrace in this beautiful old town with half-timbered houses. The few photos I took there I would like to share with you.
Afterwards we went on to the beautiful Lake Lucerne, to Meggen, near Lucerne, where we will spend a week before going on Friday to Prad in South Tyrol. These posts will follow.

Es ist mal wieder die Zeit für Sommerferien und wir verließen Luxemburg am Samstag Abend für einen erste kurzen Trip um die Nacht in der schönen älsäsischen Stadt Obernai zu verbringen.
Am darauffolgenden Morgen gab es ein angenehmes Continental Frühstück auf einer netten Terrasse in dieser schönen Altstadt mit Fachwerkhäusern. Die wenigen Fotos, die ich dort machte, möchte ich mit euch teilen.
Anschließend ging es weiter an den schönen Vierwaldstättersee, nach Meggen, nahe Luzern, wo wir eine Woche verbringen werden, ehe es am Freitag weiter nach Prad in Südtirol geht. Die Posts hierübee werden folgen.

Beautifully enchanting. Would've loved to have a bit more information on the tower.
The old town of Obernai is surrounded by an ancient town wall with all in all 20 of those towers. More information on their official site: Obernai

My wife originates from Meggen and so, before going further, we always stay a week with my parents-in-law at Lake Lucerne. 😃

We have a great time here, living beneath the lake. Ewa's parents and brother are professional Fisherman on the lake so guess all the good fish-dishes we are getting served!
Every morning before breakfast, I go for a swim in the lake with Mia, that's just amazing, believe me! Should I succed in motivating one of the girls to come with me as a photographer, I'll post about that great pleasure!
