Mitch Seavey has won the 2017 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Alaska!

Mitch Seavey is Iditarod's oldest and fastest champion, winning his third race at age 57! 


Three-time champion Mitch Seavey from Sterling Alaska, reached the finish line in record time as the first place winner in Nome Alaska on 3/14/2017 with a team of 12 dogs.  

The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is a 1,049 mile trek through some of the most extreme wilderness in the nation.

Nome hosts the finish of one of the toughest sled dog races in the world, an event not to be missed!
