Good point with the deterioration caused by the visitors but in fact, most of the other Mayan pyramids are closed to public for safety reasons. Several people have already fallen to their death from them. Very sad.
Oh wow, I didn't know that it could be that dangerous. It makes a lot of sense that they have closed them in that case!
Yeah, there is no solid railings and the stone base is slippery. Combined with those heights, it is pretty dangerous indeed.
