I had to find a place with mountains, water and good air to relax. therefore, at the suggestion of my friends, our family drove for more than three hours to Yichang Jiuwan Creek, which is known as the hometown of floating.
Jiuwan Creek is located in Jiuwan Creek drift scenic spot, zhong yangping village, JIU Wanxi city, Zigui county, Yichang city, Hubei province, which belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate with rich resources and pleasant climate, with an annual average temperature of about 17 ℃.
As soon as we arrived at the scenic spot, we couldn't wait to get on board. afterwards, the staff told us that we must make preparations before boarding the raft and understand some precautions:
don't wear leather shoes, flat-bottomed slippers, plastic sandals and sneakers can all be used. The bad weather is cold on the water, and the good weather is dry on the water. attention should be paid to cold protection and sun protection. it is best not to use too expensive clothing, shoes and hats for drifting.
only bring drinking water, mobile phones, certificates and cash ... do not bring anything that is afraid of water.
parents should note that children who are too young do not drift and cannot swim. The river channel in the mountain is complex, with rapids and rapids everywhere. it is very dangerous for children who do not understand to move around on board.
if you feel the opportunity is rare and you must bring a camera, it is best to bring a silly machine with low value, wrap it with plastic bags in advance, open it at the flat beach, wrap it at the dangerous beach, and be prepared to fall into the water at any time.
when dangerous shoals are encountered, the safety rope should be tightly grasped, the feet should be tightened, and the body should lean toward the center of the hull. When going down the rapids, please keep the boat in balance with the boat body and grasp the armrest on the inner side of the boat body. the rear one leans slightly backward, and two people ensure the boat body is balanced and parallel to the river channel and goes down the river.
when capsizing, you need not panic at all. you should be calm and calm, because you must wear life jackets when drifting, and you can easily escape from danger under normal conditions.
The staff also took pains to explain two common sense to us:tongue of the dangerous shoal: when the riverbed inclines downward, white waves appear on the calm water surface. the rapids are usually at the deepest and fastest speed of the riverbed in the central part. In places where the two sides of the river are separated from each other and shallower, the river water is blocked and the flow velocity is reduced, thus forming a phenomenon that the flow in the middle is faster. Moreover, the relatively fast water flow in the center has greater force, further washing away stones and silt, removing resistance and obstacles, and forming a " v" shaped tongue. the top of the " v" shape is usually directed to the channel with the least obstacles and the least resistance.
rewinding waves: rocks that are completely exposed to the water are easy to find, but some rocks hidden under the water are mysterious. When water flows through the top of the reef and into the rest flow ( water stop ) behind the reef. The river flows in the opposite direction ( upstream direction ). This phenomenon is called rewinding waves and appears downstream of the semi-hidden and semi-visible reef. For example, if there is a large hidden reef, there will be a large back wave downstream, usually called a " hole". This kind of " hole" is often very powerful and can easily overturn the ship. Some " holes" are like toilet bowls. once they go into them, they seem to be attracted by gravity, spinning like gyroscopes, and trapped in them for a long time. Therefore, we must spare no effort to avoid it.
After all the preparations were completed, we boarded the ship smoothly. we took the opportunity to descend, with waterfalls on top, and the power boat, which was generated by the high water level, quickly drifted to the low-lying place. I felt very thrilling. I did not even dare to take out my camera to take pictures, because I really could not help it. I had to grasp the direction of the boat, and I was afraid of colliding with other boats. I had been floating for two hours and finally had a good time. sometimes my whole body felt weak and thirsty. I quickly took out a bottle of water and drank it off. it was really good. In a short time, some villagers used bamboo poles to help us adjust the direction of the boat. only later did they know that they were trying to promote their ginger tea and baked potatoes. because of curiosity, they bought some of them themselves. the taste was good, and it was considered as a supplement of energy. Two hours later, we went ashore. because we were all wet during the drift, we quickly changed into the dry clothes we had brought with us and found a quiet place to rest on the shore. About half an hour later, we took photos with some scenic spots in the scenic area. finally, we heard some special products. after buying some Zigui rabbit meat, we returned happily. we had an appointment on the road and would definitely go again next time.
