Here are 3 photos as a proof that Dubai is not just about modern high-rise buildings. How do you like it?
This entire district called Al Seef was built last year from scratch in the area of the old Dubai. All buildings are designed in a way to depict heritage of the small fishing village that Dubai was some 80 years ago.
They really did a good job on replicating the old style - even the cracks are as authentic as they can be.
I am impressed to see these shots, after admiring the modernism that represents today in Dubai, I wonder how it was to move from the old style to what we see today, how they did? And that work is wonderful because it shows us how was the idiosyncrasy of the fishermen of Dubai. truly grateful for this publication that you share today, which makes me value Dubai more, for all that has managed to advance towards the future of technology adapting its people and this modernism.
