Koh Samui (Thailand travels Part 1)
The 2nd largest island of Thailand. A tropical paradise for every type of traveler. This was our 2nd time in Thailand and we decided to head to Koh Samui and explore the night life and the timeless beauty of this beautiful island.
The most famous temple of Samui is the Big Buddha Temple – Wat Phra Yai.
There is no entry fee, however, there’s a dress code for an entry here. We visted Samui during rains and the moment we stepped here it was pouring. Nevertheless, I seized this opportunity for some pictures again.
The Golden Statue is simply majestic. And the top gives such an elaborate and breathtaking views of the island. Not to be missed, specially during sunset. Though we weren’t very lucky because of the rains. Infact, we had to be really careful during the climb because of the slippery stairs in the rains. The temple ambience is calm and soothing. A perfect spot if meditation is on your mind.
