Barcelona and us: almost a love story [original photos]

In 2016 my wife and I were 2 times in Barcelona (Spain) becouse I had 2 exhibitions of my artworks there. I was been in Barcelona 30 years ago and now I found it really changed!

We found a modern, efficent city, with a metro comparable to Paris and London one's. And yet Barcelona is still and old, beautiful town full of life and so welcoming, with colors everywhere and great street art even in the most popular blocks. It is also not so expensive (prices in London are twice, for instance).

We stayed in little hotels in the downtown both times (first time in february, 2nd in september). In september we were in the Old Town, and it was really amazing.

My gallery was also downtown, at Passeig de Gràcia. In september that gallery (Jordi Miguel Galeria d'Art) had a personal show of my artworks. But we also spent some days as tourists!

Barcelona is filled with art. Both contemporary and ancient.

We will be back there as soon as we can!
