Olumo Rock

this rock stand at 137feet above sea level. it is located in Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria. if you are in Nigeria, i will encourage you to visit. there is so much to see.

from an artistic point of view, the rock is a pregnant woman lying on her back. the black cycle shows her face, the yellow her breast, the blue her proturding belly and the red her feet: as below

the fun of climbing this rock is to explore the caves and see everypart of what makes the rock historic. you need to see the shrine

the historic points, like this (picture below) where it is said that people who need children and come to this point to make their request and use from the leaves of the tree that shades this piece, receives their heart desires

this boabab tree is said to be very very old

and the surrounding of it is a very beautiful site

at the top of the rock, you have an amazing view of the city.

and YES i climbed the 137feet above sea level rock...

it was fun and adventurous exploring every corner of it!!!
