Taking you to Bohinj, Slovenia
Bohinj valley is one of the most touristy regions in Slovenia.
Upon arrival to Bohinj, a relaxed and sporting atmosphere welcomed us. While waiting for our tourist guide to buy cable car tickets for the group, I walked in a small centre and noticed this cafe's idyllic alpine interior:
After a ride in a fairly overcrowded cable car, we came to Vogel which is a mountaineering point in summer and a ski resort in winter.
The magnificence of the intact nature has a power to make you forget any negativity in an instant:
And view from the heights alleviates your concerns up to a point where they no longer matter:
While enjoying the view of Alps, the valley and Lake Bohinj, I also wondered how would it be to work on the maintenance of the cable cars at this height.
Meeting with the cows that were walking around feely:
Alpine environment:
Available adrenaline activities looked very tempting but we didn't have enough time:
Next time. :-)
Walking up a track that is a ski slope in winter:
Looking down.
We came back by a chairlift. A wonderful view, this time with a sense of flight and levitation:
Saying goodbye to Vogel and Bohinj and heading to Bled Lake, which I'll write about in the next post.
