A Week Trip in Europe Second Stop BUDAPEST - Part 3 [ ENG-TR ]

After visiting Prague and Bratislava, it was time for us to see BUDAPEST. I really enjoyed visiting Prague and Bratislava and I was sure that I would also enjoy seeing Budapest. So from Bratislava to Budapest I remember we took a bus and I do not remember the bus company. I definitely suggest you to check bus prices both online and also from city bus terminal of Bratislava. Because we checked some buses and they were around 20 euros for 2 people. But we went to terminal and checked from that place where you buy tickets and the tickets we could not buy online were available there and they costed 7 euro per person which was much cheaper then online tickets.

Prag ve Bratislava'yı gezdikten sonra sıra Budapeşte'ydi. Önceki yerlerde gezerken gerçekten eğlendim ve mutlu oldum gördüğüm yerler için. Bratislava'dan hangi otobüs firmasıyla Budapeşteye geldiğimizi hatırlamıyorum ama bileti iyi ki otobüs terminlinden almışız çünkü daha ucuza geldi. Önce internetten baktık ama tam bulamadım, sıkıntı oldu falan ama iyi ki gidip
terminalden almışız çünkü kişi başı 7 euro verdik bilete. Yoksa netten 20 euroydu internetten.

So it took I think 2 hours from Bratislava to Budapest and something strange for me was those reaaaaally old trams that are used in Budapest. When we were in that very old green tram, I thought it was going to break and we were going to fall apart :D Thanks God it did not happen. I mean they were too old :) Then we went to center finally and Budapest was not really confusing for us as we all have phones we navigation features. So I always download the map of the city to google maps before I go to city. And finally we found our airbnb flat.

Sanırım yolculuk 2 saat sürdü ve Budapeşte'ye vardık. Beni ilk şaşırtan şey o eski tramvay trenleri. Yani öyle bir trene bindik ki her tarafı oynuyor. Dedim birazdan parçalanacak herhalde :) Öyle eskiydi. Ama sonra yeni trenler de gördük tabi ki. Ve geldikten sonra telefona indirdiğim harita sayesinde rahatça kalacağimiz yeri bulduk. Kalacak yer için airbnb kullandık.

There are always possibilities of bad things when you travel. So this time it was not really bad but owner of the flat was not a really responsible guy. He renovated the flat okay that is good but everything was around, it was not that clean and there were a lot of that were missing but since we were there for a few days it was okay. We said f.ck it, try to enjoy the time. Then we went out. The thing that was interesting was buildings of Budapest. They are old like everywhere else in Europe but they were also kind of black. I guess that was because of wars of the past. Even there were a lot of bullet damages on buildings as they are really old buildings. But still that is the part of history. People should know about this and hopefully they should take them as lesson.

Tabi bu sefer şansımız önceki gibi değildi.Çünkü bu sefer ki airbnb odanın sahibi biraz sorumsuz acayip biriydi. Adam evi yeni yaptırmış ama her yer her yerdeydi. İnsan bir temizler, düzeltir. Bir sürü eksik şey vardı. İletişim sıkıntıydı ama yine de sonunda gittik odamıza girdik. Ve beni etkileyen şaşırtan bir başka şey ise o eski binalardaki siyah lekeler. Yani her binanın alt katları siyah gibiydi. Yer yer o kurşun delikleri gibi delikler vardı. Sonradan anladık ki eski savaşların izleri çünkü şehir çok eski, binalar çok eski. Tabi bunlar da şehrin bir dokusu sonuçta tarihi. Çok hoşuma gitti bunları görmek.

In the photograph above you are looking at the public bazaar of Budapest. You can taste a lot of different local food. So even though it is a very crowded place you should go and eat different things. That was a great place for me to see though I did not want to stay a lot because it was toooo crowded full of tourists.We were also tourists of course but still :) It is like where ever I go I want to be one of those local people not a bunch of tourists with selfie sticks not that there is something wrong with them . That is why I try to walk as much as possible even to those unnecessary not really good looking streets. Because even in those streets you discover a shop with an old guy in it selling old stuff. Conversation goes further and the owner of the shop offers you coffee. I love it.

Şu üstte gördüğünüz fotoğrafta Budapeşte'nin pazarı. Gerçekten yerel bir yemek denemek istiyorsanız kesinlikle burayı öneririm. Yalnız aşırı kalabalık bir yer, özellikle üst kat bizim semt pazarlarına benziyor. Yer güzeldi ama fazla kalmadım çünkü aşırı kalabalık insanı daraltıyor. Ama şehri görmek için keşfetmek için güzel bir yer. Ve dediğim gibi önemsiz gözüken yerlere bile gitmeye çalışın, karşınıza ne çıkacagını bilemezsiniz.

In this photograph above, this time you are witnessing a history or at least you are realizing the reality of history. These graves are in the photo belong to Ottoman soldiers. When Ottomans attacked, there were of course deaths. So these people that died were buried here inside or in front of the castle. As it was a big area. It was really amazing for me to see these graves. I mean I was just seeing the graves that I had read on a history book. I love history and politics. So when I see something that I read in a book, It really amazes me.

Bu üstte gördüğünüz fotoğraf ise Osmanlı askerlerinin kaledeki mezarlarına ait. Zamanında Osmanlılar buraya saldırdığında doğal olarak hayatlarını kaybeden askerler oldu. Onlardan bazıları da burada yatıyor. Burayı görmek benim için çol ilginçti, tarif edemeyeceğim duygulara kapıldım. Sonuçta kitapta okuduğum şeylerin bir parçasını burada görme şansını buldum.

For me Budapest was a nice place to visit for 3 days. You can easily find places to see and visit. It is not a really small city. You should go to that park where there are activities and nice small old buildings. Also don't forget to buy tram tickets you will need them. As you can't just walk everywhere I mean you can but it is not necessary sometimes.And after visiting we went back to our home LJUBLJANA. I will also write an article about Ljubljana next time. By the way from Budapest to Ljubljana at that time the only smart travel option was the train from Budapest Kelet train station to Ljubljana. Because all the other buses were going to Prague then Vienna and to Ljubljana. It would take 17 hours If we took bus. SO we chose train and it took 8 hours to go to Ljubljana but we paid around 40 euros person which was so annoying and stupid.IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK !!!

Bence Budapeşte, 3 günlük bir gezi için çok güzel bir yerdi. Kolaylıkla görecek ziyaret edecek yerler bulabilirsiniz. Zaten her yer doğal. Bir park vardı adını unuttuğum yakında büyük bir anıt ve parkın içinde de eski büyük evler vardı. Orası güzeldi. Ayrıca tramway da kullanabilirsiniz zaten 70 cent mi neydi sanırım. Budapeşteyi gördükten sonra evimize, Ljubljana'ya geri döndük. Ljubljana hakkında da güzel bir yazı yazacağım önümüzdeki günlerde. Yalnız Budapeşte'den Ljubljana'ya ulaşım çok kötü. Otobüs 1 tane vardı ve oda 17 saat sürüyordu. Dedim heralde Budapeşte'Den önce Çin'e sonra Ljubljana'y gidiyorlar. Çünkü Budapeşte, Prag Viena sonra Ljubljanaydı otobüsün rotası. Biz de mecbur treni seçtik o da abartı pahalıydı. 40 euro diye hatırlıyorum kişi başı. Bunu iyi düşünün alternatif blabla car işi de şans pek çıkmadı bize. Tren rahattı, 8 saat sürdü.
