Baldhar landlord Narendra Narayan Roy Chowdhury started the construction of the garden on 3.38 acre of land in 1909. It took about 8 years to end. There are about 18,000 trees in the garden with 800 species of rare species. Currently there are 672 species of plants. There are many species of trees in the garden, which are nowhere else in Bangladesh. It is open from 8am to 11am and from 2am to 5pm every day of the week.
