We are in Nagano, on our way to our next destination. We stopped at a cafe.

Ranpu Ya (らんぷ屋)

Ranpu Ya is a cafe houses in a wood building. It was surrounded by beautifully autumn colored maple trees. There is not only a cafe, they also sell home decorations, dried flowers, handmade items, and other things.

It was rainy and cold so we decided to sit inside the cafe. If the weather had been nice, I would have wanted to sit outside on the balcony.

The menu has foods, drinks, and deserts. We’d finished lunch so I wanted to have something sweet. Both dishes were decorated with leaves and flowers, from the ones they sell, I guess. They were so lovely.

The Owens were friendly with us. They wondered where we were from. They heard us speaking a strange language.😂 After enjoying dessert, we headed to the Togakushi area.
