Curacao

On my way through all five continents I came to Curacao last February and was surprised how beautiful this island is. The beaches have kristal clear turquoise water and fine, white sandy corall beaches. The people are very friendly. Mostly African origin, speaking a mixture of African and Spanish, as Curacao lies close to Venezuela. And from that country come most of the fruits, vegetables and fresh fish, every morning by boats.
We stayed in an apartment owned by a shaman lady, very dark skin, very nice and helpful with all the information needed.
This trip will not be the last one to Curacao. We love the beaches, the healthy food, the friendly people - still a little paradise in this turbulent world around us.
