Gorur Dam is located in the Hassan Kushalnagar road of hassan in the state of Karnataka.

This Dam is constructed well so it attracts the people across the country.This dam has width of 4692meter long and 58 Meter height and it has resorvier of 8502 hectares.
It is also know as Hemavathy Dam and was build in 1979.

The rainly season is the best time visits this Dam it offers beautiful view to people.
