Portrait of a bridge

Named the Luis I bridge and completely finished in 1888. Hanging high above the river Douro, connecting both parts of Porto town in Portugal.

The bridge spans 385.25 meters,


and is 44.6 meters in height

The arch spans 142 meters.

In 1982 the bridge was designated cultural heritage.
