Landscapes of eastern Crete
Away from the busy seasidehubs, this part of northeastern Crete becomes a sparse Mediterranean landscape.
Clinging to the north African climate, with hot summers,
thyme shrubs,
strangely green rocks,
dead snails lying between the plants, making a nice natural composition,
hills of granite rocks,
olivetrees
A lot of foraging can be done here, some basic knowledge would be great, harvesting your own oregano, mountain tea(Malotira),
a small bay covered by orange flowers,
waiting for the sun to go down.
Hi @nin0000 would like to know which area is that hill if you remember the name... btw these snails are not dead, is just that the summer is too hot for them and they always walk when its raining (dont know why). You should collect and make a nive meal😜

Next time, i've eaten good snailfood, but in a tavern, it's all in the utmost eastern corner, north.

nin0000 - It is a sparse landscape but the rocks have their own poetry of stillness going on. You have captured it well. I love the rocky outcrop in the first picture that seems to reach for the sky. Upvoted.
