Isla Mujeres: the Mexican island dedicated to women

On January 15, 2017, we decided to leave Cancun and go to the first small and impressive Caribbean island that is right in front of Cancun: Isla Mujeres

The beautiful white beaches, characterized by the white and finest sand in the Caribbean, and the sea, clear, colorful and full of fish, make Isla Mujeres a real paradise.

This Caribbean Sea does not joke!

A real heavenly paradise with white sandy beaches and a sea of all the shades, something I've never seen before.

This one is a dream island I thought right away!

The evening sky was full of wonderful sunsets and in this shot we missed the sunset & nbsp; for a few moments, yet the horizon still gave us an unforgettable look

This island is called the Island of Women, in Spanish Isla Mujeres

At the time of the Spanish buccaneers, according to a legend, they used to leave their lovers in peace and temptation while they were busy plundering galleons and plundering harbors on the mainland.

We turn to the island looking for a home for our stay which in this case is expected long

Among the many things that happened to us on the island, there was also the excitement to stay without current for 2 days.

A ship had sliced the cables from Cancun carrying the current to the Island.

So with all the Mexican calm ... all the island stayed in the dark !!

The tranquility of the island gave us the opportunity to take some time for our fitness.

Keeping me in shape helps above all my mind and allows me to better face our travels

And a healthy morning jogging, we left for a fun 20-mile walk to the Isla Mujeres Walking to this paradise of populated Turtles and Dolphins

As we walk on the beach, a man with a stick hanging in a soap full of soap creates giant bubbles flying in the sky

The island is very small and it is not difficult to walk around; In fact it is only 8km long and 600m wide

It breathes a very quiet air and everyone looks happy.

A real paradise for those who want to escape from Cancun, even for a day trip.

Transparent, warm water rich in marine life, its coral reefs and its caves also attracted Jacques Cousteau, who managed to reach the legendary local Ramón Bravo diver.

This island is not crowded and offers many interesting things to do and see

According to us the best beach where to enjoy the holiday is definitely Playa Norte, here the sand is made of coral grains and compared to the other beaches on the east coast, the water is Shallow.

The calm waters of a blue turquoise intensity surrounding Isla Mujeres are to be experienced.

Every night at sunset, lying on the beach awaiting fascinating sunsets

We also had the luck of living on the island CARNIVAL!

A GREAT FESTIVAL with the election of the King and Queen of Carnival

What a rhythm!

It was great to see the participation of all the inhabitants of the island and of us tourists.

Everyone yelled and with our & nbsp; applause we gave a jury approval signal.

And yet we scream! I felt the thrill of ado and the music that made me vibrate everywhere

The Mexicans are wonderful, they love to party.

What struck me most is the spontaneity and simplicity.

The perfect physical form passes in the background with the desire to be together and enjoy themselves.

It's wonderful!! So everyone finds their way to feel protagonists on this holiday day.

In total we stayed on the island for more than 2 months, I would say we loved a saucous !!

On this island we felt like family, we all knew each other and greeted us
