MY TRIP TO BIJLI MAHADEV TEMPLE, HIMACHAL PRADESH INDIA Part 1

HELLO EVERYONE,

PART 1

I have been to a trip couple of months back to one of the beautiful places here on earth. The place was Himachal Pradesh, it is a state in India full of mountains and beautiful destinations to visit. Here in this post I would like to highlight only about about the place name Bijli Mahadev. It is a temple situated approximately 7800 FT high at the top of the mountain. One has to take a bus ride to the mountain where the temple is that is from Kullu bus stop. The bus will drop you at only half of the distance of the mountain. From there the trek starts, we have to climb the mountain to reach the temple which takes approximately 2 hours. There are many uncountable steps which really make it hard to climb, in between you will find many people the local residents which will guide you to take the right path as there are many ways going left or right which may confuse many people and can cause obstacle to reach the top.

While climbing to the top of the mountain I met many people and spoke to them. I actually visited the place with my cousins and my niece which was an infant. Travelling with an infant is always difficult as its our responsibility to make them comfortable while travelling. In between we took many photographs and even had stoppage every 20 mins to have snacks that we got before catching the bus. There are few shops in between to have Maggie, chips and soft drinks.

For us Indians, a mountain trip is not completed until we eat Maggie with a hot cup of Tea. After enjoying the view while eating maggie and tea we continued or trip to reach our endeavour.
