It's early in 2018. New year means new holiday target dong. For those of you who like traveling certainly add new places for a holiday is a fun activity. But, instead of just taking a walk on the beach to see the sea, what if your ' holiday ' holiday for the whole year is to visit various cultural festivals both locally and abroad.

Cultural festival is an annual event regularly organized by one region as a form of cultural preservation, at a cultural festival you will know many different series of traditional events which is certainly suitable to be exhibited in all social media as one of 'unforgettable'.

1. Grebeg Sudiro, Central Java (February)

For this year Chinese or Chinese New Year celebrations will be held on February 16th. Grebeg Sudiro is the name of celebration of cultural festival of society in Pasar Gede, Solo to celebrate Imlek . This cultural festival is held 4 days straight from February 15-19.

The series of events from this festival is scrambling food from the mountains containing hundreds of cake beds, lion dances, traditional Chinese dances to light the Lampion. How? A very suitable way to spend a long weekend .

2. Komodo Festival, NTT (March)

Still in Indonesia. From the name of course you directly know where the festival will be held. Called as one of the most extravagant tourist destinations in Indonesia. Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara again held this festival of Komodo dragon. At this festival you should not be surprised to meet a variety of tourists from all over the world, because this festival is one of the most eagerly awaited.

Featuring a variety of art parades, traditional dances to the cultural arts scene typical of the people of NTT , this Komodo festival will be held from 5-10 March . So do not forget to rush ready in budget and take time off to come to this most eagerly awaited cultural festival.

3. Songkran Festival, Thailand (April)

If you want to experience a different holiday experience to this white elephant country can come to coincide with the Songkran Festival. Also called the water-flushing festival, the festival allows everyone to water the elephant trunk, which of course ends with an exciting water war between foreign tourists and the local community.

Songkran Festival will be held 3 days in a row from 13-15 April . No half-hearted The biggest festival in Thailand will be conducted simultaneously in 3 major cities in Thailand namely Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket, interesting is not it?

4. Flower Festival Tulip, Korea (May)

Still in Asia, the flower festival is the most widely performed festival in this ginseng country. Owning 8 flower festivals throughout the year, Tulip flower festival is one of a series of festivals to welcome spring.

Actually Tulip flower festival itself is still belom too well known by international tourists. However, for the Korean community itself the festival is one of the most anticipated every spring. Rather than all the way to the Netherlands to see Tulip flowers, the wealth of Tulip flower in Korea alone is enough to spoil your eyes. Festival view this Tulip flowers will be there throughout the month of May . So the 'chingu' game started saving to book tickets to Korea.

5. Sanno Matsuri, Japan (June)

Only held every 2 years. This time of year 2018 is the right year to visit one of the oldest cultural festival in Japan this. Celebrated with great fanfare, the purpose of this festival is to celebrate Edo as the capital of Japan at that time (Edo period).

The interesting thing about this festival is that anyone who participates will be allowed to enter the temple of Edo, a temple that is only open 2 years in general and only at the time of Sanno Matsuri festival. So if you want to experience the spring rush in Japan, the Sanno Matsuri festival is a great time. You will be presented with a super parade on the big streets of Tokyo.

There will be a parade of people dressed in traditional Japanese attire, drummers, animal sculptures, and portable temple bearers decorated with phoenix carvings. The festival will take place from June 9-12.
