Interlaken, Switzerland is a small resort town which is located in the central part of Switzerland. It is actually located in the valley. As a result, you will be able to explore the picturesque landscape around the town. It is also flanked by Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
The town is dotted with timber houses which make it a noteworthy spectacle. The dense forests around just add to the beauty of this resort town.
There is plenty to do when you’re in this resort town. Some of the tourist attractions include:
• Hoheweg: Hoheweg is spread across 14 acres. It is a remarkable garden consisting of diverse flower beds as well as magnificient plants. It is definitely worth visiting. It also consists of the garden of friendship which is a spectacle in itself.
• Harder: Harder is a wildlife park which consists of peaks ranging up to 1122m in height. Also, it consists of the panorama restaurant which provides you with magnificent views of the entire area. There is also look out Pavilion which is protruding from the mountains and as a result, you will be able to see some great views at a height of 1116 m.
• Schynige Platte: This is at a 5-minute walk from Interlaken railway station. At the top of this platte, you can witness an alpine garden which consists of more than 600 species of flowers and plants. Also, the panoramic view from this point is breathtaking, to say the least.
• Unterseen: Unterseen is a little-hamlet to the north of Interlaken, Switzerland. It consists of plenty of old European architecture and even a Gothic tower. The Chalets made of wood are a spectacle to watch.

In addition to these as well, there are quite a few tourist attractions in Interlaken. Some of the tourist attractions which you can frequent include:

That is why gaining accommodation is not a difficult task. There are quite a few day trips also which you can plan from the resort town of Interlaken. These include:

• Brienzer Rothorn
• Giessbach falls
Thus, when you are visiting Interlaken, there are plenty of things to do. You have to just plan your trip accordingly. You have to ensure that you are getting time to explore all of these tourist attractions in and around Interlaken. It is a great resort for just relaxing for exploring the natural beauty of Switzerland.
