   Churchill War Rooms 

               Churchill War Rooms include the same bunkers as well as the office spaces of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. It is from here that the World War 2 was directed. Also, these are the spaces where the political class of Great Britain took refuge during the World War.

This was the venue at which many important and historical decisions were taken by Winston Churchill in conjunction with the political class of Great Britain.

           Currently, these rooms are part of the Imperial War Museum. There is plenty to explore in these War rooms. Not only, the bunkers itself are worth exploring. There are plenty of documents and literature of the World War II is on display as well. 

When you explore the associated Imperial War Museum as well, you will realize that there are plenty of artifacts of the Second World War which you can easily explore.  


           There are private tours also available if you are visiting in a group of more than 10 people. As a result, you will be able to explore the Churchill War rooms in complete isolation. You can easily hire a guide to ensure that you can explore in greater detail these War rooms as well.

Opening times:     Churchill War rooms are open from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.   

You need to, however, keep in mind that it will be a good idea to reach before 5 PM. The last admission is at 5 PM.   Also, the adult ticket prices € 21. The child ticket prices € 10.5.  


Along with a ticket, you will also be able to get an audio guide which you can listen to in order to explore the place in a much better way.  


  Getting there:    If you’re going by metro, you have to alight at Charing Cross or Victoria stations.   If you’re going there by road, there are plenty of parking spaces on the surrounding streets. You will be able to find metered parking between 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

         The next time around, you are in London; do make sure that you pay a visit to the Churchill War rooms. They have been perfectly preserved in their original condition. As a result, you can explore the places in greater detail when you visit it. Moreover, you will be able to see the history up close and personal when you visit the Churchill War rooms.

Visiting London is one of the places I want to visit with my family. Definitely, this place is a must see place when in London. It really looks familiar and I think I've seen this place in one of World War 2 movies I've watched.
