My Trip With "Meetup Hunter Team" to Takengon, Aceh Tengah

A few days ago, I was with @dilimunanzar and @ faizarfatria opportunity to visit takengon city, central Aceh. The purpose of my journey with "Meetup Hunter Team" to Takengon this time is to attend the Meetup KSI Chapter Gayo, we depart from the area through the road former PT. KKA. We chose this path because it is closer to than passing Bireuen-Takengon road.

Beberapa hari yang lalu, saya bersama @dilimunanzar dan @faizarfatria berkesempatan mengunjungi kota takengon,Aceh tengah. Tujuan perjalanan saya bersama “meetup Hunter Team” ke Takengon kali ini adalah menghadiri Meetup KSI Chapter Gayo, kami berangkat dari daerah asal melalui jalan bekas PT. KKA. Kami memilih jalur ini karena lebih dekat jarak tempuhnya dibandingkan melawati jalan Bireuen-Takengon.

We left from lhokseumawe around 8:00 am, and we reached the border between Aceh Utara and Bener Meriah districts around 10:30. Usually through this path will be faster. But here we deliberately slow the speed of the vehicle, so we can enjoy the atmosphere of travel. Once it has started to enter the air border has started to feel cool, and terilhat also coffee garden so fertile growing in Gayo land. In our trip, also seen some residents who hanging coffee on the roadside. Then we stopped to ask them a few things about coffee. After we observed the activities of the people here, we continued our journey to Takengon, Aceh Tengah.

Kami berangkat dari lhokseumawe sekitar jam 8:00 pagi, dan kami sampai di perbatasan antara kabupaten Aceh Utara dan Bener Meriah sekitar pukul 10.30. Biasanya lewat jalur ini akan semakin cepat. Tapi disini kami sengaja memperlambat kecepatan kendaraan, jadi kita bisa menikmati suasana perjalanan. Begitu sudah mulai memasuki batas udara sudah mulai terasa sejuk, dan terilhat juga kebun kopi begitu subur tumbuh di tanah Gayo. Dalam perjalanan kami, juga terlihat beberapa warga yang menjemur kopi di pinggir jalan. Lalu kami berhenti untuk menanyakan beberapa hal tentang kopi kepada mereka. Setelah kami mengamati aktivitas warga di sini, kami melanjutkan perjalanan ke Takengon, Aceh Tengah.

Gayo is the best coffee producing region in Aceh even in the world. Gayo itself is a name that comes from tribes in Aceh. The area that has been inhabited by the Gayo community is also called the name of the area above the cloud. Gayo which has the largest coffee plantations in Indonesia, reached 94,800 hectares. With an area of coffee plantations located in Aceh Tengah 48,000 hectares.

Gayo adalah daerah penghasil kopi terbaik di Aceh bahkan di dunia. Gayo sendiri adalah nama yang berasal dari suku-suku di Aceh. Kawasan yang telah dihuni oleh masyarakat Gayo juga disebut dengan nama daerah di atas awan. Gayo yang memiliki perkebunan kopi terbesar di Indonesia mencapai 94.800 hektare. Dengan luas perkebunan kopi yang berada di Aceh Tengah sekitar 48.000 hektar.

After observing the coffee plantation and the activities of the residents, we continued the journey. On the way we see there is a car equipped expresso coffee machine on the road to Takengon. And we also took the time to stop by the car. just to enjoy the expresso coffee and enjoy the beautiful nature and the air so cool. Then we continued our journey to Takengon.

Setelah mengamati perkebunan kopi dan kegiatan warga disini, kamipun melanjutkan perjalanan. Di perjalanan kami melihat ada mobil yang dilengkapi mesin kopi expresso di jalan menuju Takengon. Dan kami juga meluangkan waktu untuk mampir ke mobil. hanya untuk menikmati kopi expresso dan menikmati keindahan alam dan udara yang begitu sejuk. Kemudian kami melanjutkan perjalanan ke Takengon.
