I am thankful for social media like Twitter and Steemit which are opening doors and making the world a very small place where we can all communicate with each other. Letting us see that we have more in common than what divides us. I am from Ireland, quite a religious and traditional country, and in 2015 we passed an amendment to the constitution to allow gay marriage that was overwhelmingly voted on by the people. I think it will be a bit longer before the Islamic world, places like Russia and also other Christian countries wake up and can accept openly all the brothers and sisters whom god has created on this pale blue dot we call home.
