Getting ready! Travelers to Singapore will be required to Vaccine
Singapore, a small country this one became a favorite location for world tourists for a vacation, business, to treatment. No wonder, dozens of millions of people, from various countries stop here every year.
The lion country, so nicknamed, is known to have strict rules that must be obeyed by residents or tourists who come. Like the Orchard Road area that must be free of cigarette smoke, anyone is not allowed to smoke in that location.
Then, another recently discussed example relates to health issues. Yes, the Ministry of Health of Singapore will apply new rules of mandatory vaccine for tourists who want to enter their country.
Later, foreign tourists who have not vaccinated against infectious diseases will not be allowed into the country. "The proposal is to 'manage the risk of imports' of infectious diseases into Singapore," the local Health Ministry said, as quoted by Channel News Asia.
This step is taken to avoid transmission of the disease as in 2003 then. At that time, Singapore was hit by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) that killed 33 local people. This outbreak caused economic losses and affected tourists.
"As a trade and travel hub, it is very important for us to be on guard against public health threats and to maintain Singapore's health by protecting from infectious diseases, both domestically and internationally," the Singapore Ministry of Health said.
If this rule has been passed, unvaccinated tourists do not expect to enter. Local authorities will be given special powers to repatriate foreign travelers who are proven to be unvaccinated.
In order to protect its citizens, the government did not rule out the possibility to require vaccination against various types of penyakt. This will depend on the current global health threat situation.
However, until now there is no official date when the policy will be established. So, for travelers who will travel there in the near future do not worry, because you are still allowed to enter even though not get vaccinated.
Well, fuck that country... wasn't going to go there anyway but definitely will not go now. They can keep their vaccines (name changed from immunization to vaccine because immunization is false advertisement - you never become immune to anything from them!)
