7 Legendary Treasures that Still continue to be hunted

A variety of myths about hidden treasures scattered throughout many parts of the world, ranging from mere folklore to supported by some evidence which indicates the existence of the treasure. The value of the treasure is so fantastic, that is generally in the form of gold, silver, diamonds and more.

So far there are some treasures that its existence is still being traced, the treasure search based on the evidence and the instructions obtained from the results of the historic discovery. As quoted from Lite Verse, the following 7 Legendary Treasures that Still continue to be hunted.

1. Lake Michigan Gold


In the bottom waters of Lake Michigan there is a treasure trove of gold bullion. It is said that the gold bullion that the number is not known for sure that belonged to George Alexander Abbott, former Vice President of the National Bank Hackley died in 1921. The place named Palmyra Atoll, which is about 12 square km, is said to be the hiding place of the treasure belongs to the pirates. It began in 1816, when Spain ship, Esperanza-laden gold, silver, and jewels of spoils from Peru to sail towards the Antilles.

But in the middle of the journey, the ship crashed into the storm so looted and sunk by pirates. 6. The Stechovice Treasure

During World War II, the Nazis plundered numerous treasures, ranging from gold, silver, etc. One that has the most loot is General Emil Klein, who has wealth in the form of gold, diamonds, and jewelry valued at $62 billion. He allegedly hid the treasure in the tunnel near the town of Stechovice in Czech Republic.

Then a treasure hunter named Josef Muzik and Helmut Gansel, a former intelligence officer in the Czech claim to have exclusive documents relating to the treasure. However due to lack of funding, eventually they both stopped searching the treasure.

7. Captain Kidd's Treasure

William Kidd was one pirate who has a reputation for flashy and the abundant treasures. There is historical evidence that Kidd buried his treasure chests on the one island of Gardiner in New York, though the search has been conducted on the site, the results remain nil. In may 2015, the diver named Barry Clifford claims to have found most of the treasure, but after investigation it turned out that it wasn't true and up to now the cotton treasures of Captain Kidd still continues to be traced.

It's interesting how despite a lot of people looking for this treasure, no one has been able to recover them, I have heard that are real-life treasure hunters who search for these kinds of buried marvels.

Many of these will never be discovered due to the fact that the ocean may have buried deep or because they are on an unsuspected part of land or field that no one will try and look for it. I mean that's why people buried those treasure in the first place, so only them can find it.
