Big Event: Sail Sabang & Aceh World Solidarity Tsunami Cup
The two largest national events currently exist in Aceh, the western tip of Indonesia province. All eyes of lovers of nautical tourism and football lovers are pointed to the tip of Sumatra is precisely in Sabang City (zero kilometer Indonesia) and the City of Banda Aceh (capital of Aceh Province).
Sail Sabang
Sail Sabang itself was held from 28 November to 5 December on the coast of Sabang. Recorded about 85 yatch (sailboat) docked Sabang from various regions both at home and abroad. From within the country depart from Tual, Maluku and from abroad depart from Darwin, Australia.
Before the peak event on December 2nd and will be opened by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, a series of cultural and marine based tourism events have started since yesterday.
Among the events at Sail Sabang are the cultural carnival and parade, aerobatic show by Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) from Yogyakarta, and Weh Island Night Carnival.
Indonesian warship Dewaruci carrying 68 students of archipelago has arrived in Sabang on Tuesday yesterday. This KRI together with KRI Bima Suci was released by Coordinating Minister for Marine Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, on 20 November 2017.

It has also arrived with the Costa Victoria Cruise ship with 1,980 tourists from around the world. Also held Work Parachute Championship, Diving Competition, Fun Bike, Wonderful Sabang, Marine Expo, Umbrella Falls, Cultural Parade, Coffee Festival, Mass Dance, Saman Dance, Urban Art Festival, and others.
After this big event, Sabang is expected to be the vessel of Golden Triangle Regatta SaPhuLa [Sabang (Indonesia), Phuket (Thailand), Langkawi (Malaysia)] in April-May 2018.
Aceh World Solidarity Cup
Not yet finished Sail Sabang, precisely in the city of Banda Aceh will be held football tournament solidarity by bringing together four countries in Asia. These countries are Indonesia as the host, Brunei Darussalam, Mongolia, and Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament coincides with the month of the tsunami off the Indian Ocean coast on December 24, 2004, held at Harapan Bangsa Stadium, Lhong Raya, Banda Aceh City from December 2-6, 2017.

Dua event nasional terbesar saat ini ada di Aceh, provinsi ujung barat Indonesia. Semua mata pecinta wisata bahari dan pecinta sepakbola tertuju ke ujung Sumatera ini persisnya di Kota Sabang (titik nol kilometer Indonesia) dan Kota Banda Aceh (ibu kota Provinsi Aceh).
Sail Sabang
Sail Sabang sendiri digelar dari tanggal 28 November hingga 5 Desember di lepas pantai Sabang. Tercatat sekitar 85 yatch (kapal layar) merapat Sabang dari berbagai daerah baik dalam dan luar negeri. Dari dalam negeri berangkat dari Tual, Maluku dan dari luar negeri berangkat dari Darwin, Australia.
Sebelum event puncak pada 2 Desember dan akan dibuka oleh Presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo, serangkaian event wisata berbasis budaya dan bahari lainnya sudah mulai berangsung sejak kemarin.
Di antara event di Sail Sabang adalah kirab dan pawai budaya, aksi manuver pesawat (aerobatic show) oleh The Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) asal Yogyakarta, dan Weh Island Night Carnival.
KRI Dewaruci dengan membawa 68 pelajar Nusantara telah tiba di Sabang pada Selasa kemarin. KRI ini bersama KRI Bima Suci dilepas Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan di Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, tanggal 20 November 2017.
Telah tiba juga Kapal Pesiar Costa Victoria dengan membawa 1.980 wisatawan dari berbagai dunia. Digelar juga Work Parachute Championship, Diving Competition, Fun Bike, Sabang Wonderful, Marine Expo, Terjung Payung, Parade Budaya, Festival Kopi, Tarian Massal, Saman Dance, Urban Art Festival, dan lainnya.
Setelah event besar ini, Sabang diharapkan menjadi tempat kapal-kapal yacht Golden Triangle Regatta SaPhuLa [Sabang (Indonesia), Phuket (Thailand), Langkawi (Malaysia)] pada April-Mei 2018.
Aceh World Solidarity Cup
Belum usai Sail Sabang, tepatnya di Kota Banda Aceh akan digelar turnamen sepakbola solidaritas dengan mempertemukan empat negara kawasan Asia. Negara-negara tersebut adalah Indonesia selaku tuan rumah, Brunei Darussalam, Mongolia, dan Kirgistan.
Turnamen bertepatan dengan bulan terjadinya tsunami di lepas pantai negara-negara Samudera Hindia pada 24 Desember 2004 ini digelar di Stadion Harapan Bangsa, Lhong Raya, Kota Banda Aceh mulai tanggal 2-6 Desember 2017.
